Join us for another installment in our popular Speaker Series! This time, we welcome Pam Lyons, President of the Charlestown Historical Society. Her presentation will provide an overview of Charlestown’s land use history, from its Indigenous peoples and original stewards, including the Narragansett and Niantic, to European settlement in the 1600s, and its development over time. Learn how the town’s coastal environment has shaped its use and the lasting impact on the community today.
