Donate to CLT

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we depend on the generosity of our community! Individual gifts to CLT provide significant support for our efforts, including saving land, conserving wildlife habitats, protecting water resources, constructing and maintaining trails, stewardship of our 645 (and counting) acres, as well as educational walks/programs and general operating expenses. Your support is crucial to our conservation efforts. Thank you for helping us to accomplish great things!

Give an In-Kind Gift

From time to time the Trust is in need of items such as office furniture, computer equipment, cars, boats, etc.

Planned Giving

A well thought out estate plan can minimize income, capital gains and estate taxes and ensure that your assets are distributed in the way you wish. Planned giving can also help protect Charlestown’s natural character for generations to come. CLT’s “Muddy Boot” is an honorary association of individuals who have made provisions for the Charlestown Land Trust in their wills. If you are interested in a planned gift benefiting CLT, we would be honored to work with you and your advisors to carry out your wishes.

Volunteer

Volunteering is a way to actively engage in preserving the places you love in Charlestown. We invite you to join us! We welcome your help organizing special events, maintaining trails, office work, or professional services such as photography, graphic design, website maintenance and many other volunteer opportunities.

For more information on the many ways to give, you can contact us at [email protected] or (401) 213-4422.
