Celebrate Earth Day with the Charlestown Land Trust
Dear CLT Supporters and Friends,
We’ve been enjoying a wonderful Earth Day month so far—and we’re so grateful to everyone who has been a part of it. From volunteer work parties to lectures and guided walks, it’s been great to see our community come together in so many meaningful ways.
We hope you’ll join us in continuing the celebration this Saturday from 9 to 11am for a community cleanup at Ninigret Park in collaboration with the Town of Charlestown. It’s a great way to spend the morning outdoors, connect with neighbors, and make a positive impact on a place we all care about. Sign up here to let us know you’re coming.
And there’s more to come—take a peek below and join us as we continue celebrating and caring for the landscapes that make Charlestown so special.
We hope to see you out there! In the meantime, thank you for being part of this work.
With gratitude,
All of us here at CLT

Writing About Place Collaborative Writing Workshop Series
From May 7th through May 28th, CLT is excited to participate in a collaborative writing workshop and guided hike series exploring how landscape, memory, and ecology shape story and voice. These sessions highlight the value of careful observation and listening, as well as the importance of writing about the places where we live. Deepening our relationship with place through writing can also strengthen our understanding of why conservation and stewardship matter.
Writers of all experience levels are welcome, and all sessions and walks are free to attend. Learn more about the series and preregister for specific events here.
