Charlestown Land Trust is hosting a 2018 Photo Contest! All photo submittals have to be of Charlestown (however you don’t have to be from Charlestown!) Contest and photo viewing will be at the Charlestown Library on May 17th, 2018.

Charlestown Land Trust Auction

Details: Save the Date!! CLT will be holding its annual auction on August 20, 2011 at the Arnold Family Barn. If you would like to reserve a ticket for this wonderful evening or have an item that you would like to donate please call 364-6400.

A preview of auction items include: Local artists works by Frances Topping and Diana Sartor, Jewelry from Nigrelli's, Tour Perry Raso's Oyster Farm and oysters, A weekend in Shelburne, VT., Manna Farm Red Wigglers (you have to attend to find out what these babies are).

Location: Falcone Field Charlestown, RI (corner of Old Post Road and Falcone Lane)

Date: Every Thursday beginning July 5th

Time: 4:00 PM to 7:00PM

Families Welcome. Free and open to the public, Weather permitting - no rain dates.

Details: Join residents and visitors alike as we indulge in farm fresh and locally grown and produced fruits, vegetables, eggs, beef, cheese, breads, flowers, honey, oysters and more. Children and adults can enjoy the alpaca and sheep demonstrations, the live music and dancing, the food tasting, a tour of the schoolhouse and the numerous other activities. It is a place to meet friends, enjoy life, exchange ideas and reap the bounty of protected open space (farms). The market includes representatives from Rhode Island based farms, The Charlestown Historical Society and the Cross’ Mills Public Library.
